The Parksville-Qualicum Fish and Game Association is a not-for-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of our outdoor recreation heritage and the habitat that sustains it.
Our roots in the Oceanside area of Eastern Vancouver Island go back 100 years. We marked our centennial in 2012.
The Salmon Arm Fish & Game Club consists of individuals and groups interested in the pursuit of outdoor activities, habitat enhancement and conservation. The Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club was incorporated in 1957 by a group of conservation minded people in the White Rock, Surrey and Langley area.
The primary focus of the group was the restoration of the local Little Campbell River which had been severely damaged by years of unregulated gravel removal in the watershed.
For the next 23 years, club volunteers not only worked to restore the river and its tributaries, but also raised funds with the vision of acquiring land on their beloved river.
The SVRGC has been a part of the community since its inception in 1942. As the municipality evolved and grew up around us, we have evolved to try to meet the needs of the community. Originally a fishing and hunting organization, the Club has grown to include shooting sports, archery, conservation and training.
The Williams Lake Sportsmen’s Association is a non-profit group dedicated to the preservation of hunting and fishing heritage. We cherish our shooting sports. We believe in the wise use of our natural resources of fish and wildlife so future generations can enjoy the same experiences that we have today. We believe that adequate and healthy habitat has to be maintained for the future of wildlife and fish in this great province.
The Langley Rod & Gun Club (LRGC) was established in 1946 and is a non-profit Society incorporated under the Societies Act of British Columbia to provide a safe and friendly facility where individuals can enjoy many shooting disciplines. These disciplines include but are not limited to Trap & Skeet shooting, 5-stand Sporting Clays, 22 cal Rifle, Air Pistol & Rifle, Handgun, Fast Draw and Archery. The club has run continuously since its founding.
The Club is a conservation-minded organization dedicated to the preservation of our natural environment and the promotional of outdoor recreation activities. Together with the BCWF, we have been influential in many conservation efforts and in the protection of outdoor recreation for the average British Columbian.
