The Hartman Range has 100 and 200 yard Centrefire Rifle range, 50 yard general handgun range, a small-bore silhouette range, Shotgun range for Trap and Sporting Clays, -and Black Powder ranges and an Indoor air rifle range inside the clubhouse. There are also two action bays used by IPSC, IDPA and Cowboy Action.
The Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club was incorporated in 1957 by a group of conservation minded people in the White Rock, Surrey and Langley area.
The primary focus of the group was the restoration of the local Little Campbell River which had been severely damaged by years of unregulated gravel removal in the watershed.
For the next 23 years, club volunteers not only worked to restore the river and its tributaries, but also raised funds with the vision of acquiring land on their beloved river.
The Langley Rod & Gun Club (LRGC) was established in 1946 and is a non-profit Society incorporated under the Societies Act of British Columbia to provide a safe and friendly facility where individuals can enjoy many shooting disciplines. These disciplines include but are not limited to Trap & Skeet shooting, 5-stand Sporting Clays, 22 cal Rifle, Air Pistol & Rifle, Handgun, Fast Draw and Archery. The club has run continuously since its founding.
The Cowichan Fish and Game Association is an association dedicated to the continuance and enhancement of hunting, fishing, and the shooting sports within British Columbia. We support the conservation of fish and wildlife in B.C. as well as providing a safe and controlled environment for teaching gun handling and shooting skills.
The purpose of the Courtenay and District Fish and Game Protective Association is to conserve, enhance and promote the management and utilization of natural resources in an ecologically sound manner.
The club has been active in many wildlife enhancement initiatives over the years including a pheasant rearing program, goose nesting platforms, the wood duck nesting box program, that is still going on, the Ryder Creek fish habitat improvement project and many more.
Firearms safety training has also been an important initiative of the club and several members are qualified as instructors for the Canadian Firearms Safety Course and the CORE program.
